Fall.
It can’t be, but it is.
For all my sweater-loving, pumpkin spice-drinking, soup-eating girlies, congratulations.
I, a true child of summer, will be over here hating that it’s pitch dark at 7:00PM. Regretting all of the days I booked billable hours instead of getting outside. Because no matter how nice the summer is, I am never prepared for it to end. But as I enter my period of sustained mourning in the gloom of the PNW, only to emerge on March 20, 2026 when the days lengthen again, I must set aside my grief to get back to blogging.
But, hey, at least it’s time for The Jumble.

I feel ya! Even though I’m in Texas where our summers are miserable and our winters aren’t bad, I hate seeing winter approaching with it’s short, dark, too chilly days.

Just wanted to say, I love The Jumble! And, let me give a big HUZZAH for the Bon Bon candies. These were included as a treat at a bed and breakfast where I stayed a few years ago and I still think fairly often on about how delicious those treats tasted. I have been on the lookout in retail stores near me to find them and it’s dang near impossible. They would indeed make a fabulous gift.
