Does anyone else feel like they own enough pants, skirts, dresses and blazers, but they never have enough tops? If you, like me, are looking for tops for work, here are seven you should consider.
Theory Crushed Satin Blouse ($225)
Tobie Pleated Blouse ($148, three colors, plus and petite)
& Other Stories Floral Appliqué Top ($99)
Reiss Silk Embossed Blouse ($385)

Blouses — YES! What I haven’t been able to find are more short sleeve (for summer, where sleeveless are fine except they don’t read well on work video calls) blouses to go with pants and skirts. Got any you love??
Second this request!
Ugh need more of this for RTO! I never have enough that I love.
Specifically – blouses with sleeves that work for 40+ bodies and look not just professional, but structured and powerful. Overly dainty styles like flutter sleeves, lace etc. are fine layered under a top layer but on their own feel more intern/entry level than manager/C-level. The Tobie top is great because it can stand on its own and very structured.
Oh wow, you have encapsulated something I haven’t been able to put into words. I’m about to be 40, having convos with my boss about moving into leadership, and yeah — I find I’m leaning more to structured and polished than dainty, even for personal attire.
