It’s fall, and that means Friends & Family sales. Athleta is the one that I’ve been waiting for with 30% off everything. The sale runs until 9/29. Here are my favorite things.
The Pinnacle Pants are perfect for WFH or weekend. If your male colleagues wear golf pants to work, you can wear these.
This loose fitting workout top is my favorite.
Don’t worry, it also comes in long sleeve for fall.
This fleece quarter zip is fantastic. So comfortable and warm. Lots of great colors, runs into plus-size.

I ordered a lot from their last sale and the sizing was wildly different between pieces. I was an XS in some shirts, a small in others, and in a handful I could’ve probably used a medium because of the width of my rib cage (?) Is this par for the course for them, or was this inconsistent sizing why the pieces I chose were on sale…?
Just here to say I’ve encountered the same sizing concerns w/Athleta.
Same here–the sizing can even vary if you’re buying the same item in multiple colors. Once you find something that fits, the quality is fantastic, but the sizing puzzle is maddening!
I love Athleta, comfy clothes and they last
How do you suggest styling the Pinnacle Pants for work in the way men wear golf pants? They wear a polo, belt and drivers and call it a day. That won’t fly with these as a woman…but I want the same comfort (without the lockjaw country club laugh and back slap) and no Lily Pulitzer ruffles and Jack Rogers (no shame, just not for the workplace).
I own these in black and treat them like suit pants! I just take into account the fabric so I don’t pair it with linen or tweed but wool or silk look fine with them. I just ordered the brown so will be curious how much more casual they will look in a lighter color.
My office is smart casual and these work fantastic! They look so sharp in person and no one is the wiser as to the fabric or that they are from an athletic company. I also wear the other pants that Abra has recommended for work from Athleta and between these two, they are literally the only work pants I own now. Plus always remember – confidence goes a long way in work dressing!
