Last weekend, I had a conundrum. My toes had not been painted since Jesus was a boy, and were looking worse for wear after a winter spent in slippers and sneakers. But it was so warm, any footwear besides sandals sounded too heavy for the weather. So I applied some roll-on apricot oil to my toes and cleaned them up as best I could, even if my nails needed to remain bare, but when I got home I immediately started searching for a pair of shoes to solve this issue.
