I haven’t slept more than five hours per night all week. Today, I had to wear the same dress I wore on Monday (with a different jacket and boots), because I haven’t had a chance to pick up my dry cleaning. My name is Abra, I am a new staffer (because every Legislature is different), and my mind is occupied elsewhere. So let’s answer a few quick questions tonight.
DM: Why does my shapewear roll up?
This is likely a sizing issue. If your tights are shape wear are rolling up at the thigh or down at the waist, they’re likely too small. Sometimes it’s just that the brand has used a terrible material and stitched it poorly, but usually it’s sizing. Some brands, like Honeylove, design their product with additional support to minimize rolling, but the design also maximizes compression, and I like a gentler fit. I have been wearing and loving these Leonisa shorts so much that I’m sad when they’re in the wash.
From my BFF: Is there a face powder that won’t sit in my wrinkles and make me look like the Crypt Keeper?
This Boucle Silk Airbrushed Powder from One/Size is the best one I have ever used. Very smooth finish. Takes very little product to get good coverage.

I own these Quince boots in Espresso, they’re nice. I sized up a half size so they would accommodate an insole, but that’s not critical. They would be comfortable without them.
Planning to travel to MT this summer. When is the best time to go?
If you want to go to Glacier National Park, the Going to the Sun Road doesn’t even open until July. I recommend Labor Day, as the crowds have thinned a bit by then.
If you want to go to Bozeman/Yellowstone/Big Sky, I recommend June before the tourists really swoop in. But, honestly, my favorite time to be in Montana is now October or April because I don’t have to fight cowboy-hat clad tourists for parking spots at the hiking trails.
If you want to visit somewhere else and avoid the crowds, just know there isn’t much (if anything) to do in Montana if you do not enjoy outdoor hobbies. A lot of people seem to visit thinking they’re going to Nashville or Texas, and that’s not reality.

First, thank you for specifying location. Second, note that Nordstrom carries a lot of Bony Levy jewelry, and I do not recommend that brand. I have been gifted two pieces from that line, both broke within days. Not for me.
In your price range, I love a Lagos bracelet. They add a lot of texture to a stack. I wear one with my Monica Vinader chain bracelet.

My favorite suit is the Andie Malibu suit. It fits really well, and shapes your body in a very supportive and comfortable way. I also like the snap front for a more casual look. It also comes in a great selection of colors — my favorite pink is back, so jump on that before it sells out.
Also, I love a sparkly swimsuit. J.Crew has a great gold lame look in both one piece and bikini.
Quince made a dupe of this suit, and I do not think it’s as good. But Quince does have a fantastic woven cover-up that I would not miss.
